Electronic Bid Management and Purchasing
BuilderMT's Bid Management helps contractors create an automated bid process that streamlines and improves the contractors' request, receipt and award of bids, as well as the generation and approval for payment of subcontracts. It also has full integration with Sage Timberline Office Estimating and Accounting. A few highlights:
- Perform a takeoff in Estimating and automatically bring it into BuilderMT WMS (Workflow Management Suite)
- Ability to have one-time suppliers and use them over and over without needing to set up in Sage Timberline Office Accounts Payable or Address Book until they are awarded a bid
- Attach full sets of drawings, PDFs, DWGs, documents, etc. to each bid request
- Access invoices and check information on all invoices or contracts from Sage Timberline Office A/P
- Comparison report to find lowest bid by item and in total
The Trade Portal is a web-based application that gives homebuilders flexible, interactive, real-time communications with their trades about trade-specific information like bid requests and quotations, schedules, payments, purchase orders and notifications. Whenever a change is made in WMS, it is instantly communicated to the trades without the need to send e-mails, make phone calls, or perform downloads to wireless devices. Bid Management View:
- Trade Contractor or Supplier can review all bid details from the builder
- Ability to enter in Bid Items and Submit Bid back to WMS Bid Management Dashboard
- Ability to receive documents, plans, drawings, specifications via the Document attachments tab
- Ability to ask questions and receive answers between the Trade and the builder in the Question and Answer tab
- Ability to see rebid or deny bid information
