Assembly Number Format

The mask entered in this field identifies the assembly numbering structure that designates a base model in the Sage Timberline® Office Estimating database. All assemblies that do not match this mask will be treated as options/extras.

To establish the assembly number mask:

  1. From the Integration menu select > Timberline Estimating > Estimating DB Settings.

  2. Verify the database currently selected in the Estimating Databases field list is the correct database for which this setting will be defined. If necessary, click on a different database.

  3. In the Assembly Number Format field, enter the mask for the assembly number to designate the base house.

  1. Enter the '#' sign for each character that is non-specific. Example: If assemblies in Sage Timberline Office Estimating are all 5 characters, and all base house assemblies end in "01", the mask would be "###01".

  1. Click theSave button at the top of the screen to save any changes.

Note

The assembly number is limited to 9 characters.
