The mask entered in this field identifies the assembly numbering structure that designates a base model in the Sage Timberline® Office Estimating database. All assemblies that do not match this mask will be treated as options/extras.
From the Integration menu select > Timberline Estimating > Estimating DB Settings.
Or, select the Estimating DB Settings
icon from the Timberline Estimating Integration toolbar.
By default, the Timberline Estimating Configuration tab opens.
Verify the database currently selected in the Estimating Databases field list is the correct database for which this setting will be defined. If necessary, click on a different database.
In the Assembly Number Format field, enter the mask for the assembly number to designate the base house.
Enter the '#' sign for each character that is non-specific. Example: If assemblies in Sage Timberline Office Estimating are all 5 characters, and all base house assemblies end in "01", the mask would be "###01".
Click theSave
button at the top of the screen to save any changes.
