Deleting a Calendar

When a calendar is deleted, if a schedule has already started using that calendar, the lookup hierarchy proceeds to pick up the next calendar to use and updates the schedule accordingly. If there is no other calendar, the company calendar is used.

 

To delete a calendar:

  1. From the Setup menu, select Workday Calendars.
    Or, click on the  Workday Calendars icon on the Setup toolbar.

  2. If necessary, select the calendar to delete from the Calendar drop-down menu.

  3. Select Delete Calendar from the Workday Calendars drop-down menu, or click on the Delete Calendar icon.

  4. A confirmation screen appears. Click Yes to delete the calendar. Click No to cancel the deletion process.

  5. Click on Save.

  6. Click Close to exit the screen.
