Establishing Document Types

Follow the instructions in this section to create, delete, and edit document types.

To create a new document type:

  1. Click on the Add New Document Type icon, and the Document Type Information dialog appears.

 

  1. Type a new description in the Document Type field.

  1. Click OK.

  2. Click Save.

 

 

To delete a document type:

  1. Click on the document type that to delete.

  2. Click on the Delete icon in the toolbar.

  3. To delete the document type, click Yes. To cancel the delete document type process, click No.

  4. Click Save.

 

To edit a document type:

  1.  Double-click on the document type to edit, and the Edit Document Types dialog appears.

  2. Type the changes in the document type field.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Click Save.
