These settings determine the folder in which the Sales Pricing module creates and stores copies of data files that are sent to the sales center (outbound) and copies of data files received from the sales center (inbound) for the division. These files are used for informational purposes.
At the time contract data is completed, an .XML file is created by the sales center and transferred to the client. The inbound file folder path should point to a valid directory on the network in which to store copies of these .XML files. At the time the data is received from the sales center, a copy of the .XML file is created and placed in the designated folder for future reference. This field should be set to a network folder such as T:\BuilderMT\ProductionData\SalesCenterImport.
Naming Convention for Incoming Builder1440 and Sales Simplicity Files - All incoming .XML files will be named SCToWMS_Date_Time.XML. As an example, a file retrieved on October 25, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. would be named SCToWMS_102506_0900.XML. All retrieved files will be sorted in alphabetical order and the first file alphabetically will be processed first. For example, SCToWMS_102506_0900.XML will be processed before SCToWMS_102506_1020.XML
Naming Convention for Incoming Custom Sales Center Files - At this point in time, the only requirement for a custom sales center is that the file is an .XML file. The files will still be sorted alphabetically and processed in alphabetical order.

Naming Convention for Outgoing Builder1440 and Sales Simplicity Files - Each outgoing .XML file is assigned a unique name. The file name includes the user name assigned by Builder1440 or Sales Simplicity, Workflow Management Suite's base name of PMToSC, and an incrementing sequence number. As an example, if the Builder1440 username is bmt, the outgoing filenames will be bmtPMToSC001.xml, bmtPMToSC002.xml, bmtPMToSC003.xml, etc.

The user may choose to use the same folder for inbound and outbound .XML files. The sales centers currently supported do not require separate folders for incoming and outgoing files. |
From the Setup menu, select Divisions.
Or, click on the Divisions icon within the Setup toolbar.
Verify the division currently selected in the Division field is the correct division for which the sales center integration settings for the division will be defined. If necessary, select a different division from the Division drop-down menu.

Sales Center Integration icon within the vertical list of icons on the left.
To assign a new folder for copies of inbound files, click the Inbound 
Select Directory icon and browse to the correct folder. Double-click on the folder name and click OK.
To assign a new folder for copies of outbound files, click the Outbound Select Directory icon and browse to the correct folder. Double-click on the folder name and click OK.
Click on Save.
Continue with configuring the division lot premium mapping as necessary, or click the Close 
button to exit the screen.
