This setting designates a specific option name to use in order to track lot premiums in Sage Timberline® Office Accounting.
The option name that is designated in the Lot Premium Mapping field will be designated as the lot premium and populate with the lot premium amount for the division. At the time the sales configuration received from the sales center is approved in WMS, the designated option name automatically sets up on the job in WMS. At the time the information is sent to Sage Timberline Office Accounting, the corresponding extra (option) automatically sets up on the job in Job Cost with the associated lot premium amount. This process allows the user to track the lot premium amount separately from the base house selling price.
At the time the sales configuration received from the sales center is approved in WMS, the base house selling price will include the lot premium amount by default. The lot premium amount will not be tracked separately in WMS or in Sage Timberline Office Accounting.
Go to Setup > Divisions > Sales Center Integration.
In the Lot Premium field, type the desired OPTION_NAME. In the database, WMS stores the 9-digit option code in the OPTION_NAME field, therefore you will type a number in the Lot Premium Mapping field.
In this example, the search is for 800000002 (Lot Premium). Or, if you do not know a number, you can search for the OPTION_DESCRIPTION of "lot premium," assuming it was named that by the Accounting department.
If the OPTION_NAME exists, the option code and name will appear next the field.
