Map JC Field to Job Cutoff Phase (STO Accounting Only)

 

These settings allow the applicable cutoff phase to be assigned to each job in Job Cost. The cutoff phase for each job will be communicated to WMS every time the Share All Job Information With Job Cost process is run if this option is enabled.

 

 

 

Understanding Job Cutoff Phase

Construction cutoff phases are designated construction activities, the completion of which for a particular job, eliminates the availability of certain option selections for that job in the sales center.  

 

 

Update JC Job Cutoff Phase from Production Management

If this option is turned on, the cutoff phase will also update on each job within WMS based on the completion of scheduling activities that are assigned to the cutoff phase. The change in the cutoff phase will be communicated to Job Cost each time the Share Job Information with Job Cost process is run, based on the JC Table and JC Field settings described above.  

 

To enable Job Cost to update the job cutoff phase in WMS:

    1. If the checkbox is checked, the option will be turned on.  

    2. If the checkbox is left blank, the option will be turned off.

  1. Click the JC Table drop-down arrow.

  2. Select the MASTER_JCM_JOB_CUSTOM_FIELDS table.


     

  3. Click the JC Field drop-down menu.

  4. Select the Custom Description field that was previously been set up and designated to be used for cutoff phases. For example, the custom description field is named Cutoff_Phase. See Setting Up Cutoff Phases and Custom Descriptions for more information on setting up the designated field.

 

Note

If the drop-down list for custom fields is blank, change the JC Table to MASTER_JCM_JOB_1, then change the JC Table back to MASTER_JCM_JOB_CUSTOM_FIELDS. This should refresh the JC Field drop-down list.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. To turn on the option to update JC Job Cutoff Phase with data from WMS, click the Update JC Job Cutoff Phase from Production Management checkbox.

  1. If the checkbox is checked, the option will be turned on.  

  2. If the checkbox is left blank, the option will be turned off.

 

  1. Click the Save button at the top of the screen to save any changes.
