Placing a Purchase Order on Approval Hold

With the appropriate privileges granted in Security Manager, the user can place a purchase order on approval hold using theHold column. Putting a purchase order on hold prohibits that PO from being approved until the hold is removed. Placing POs on hold prohibits them from being approved in the field, even though they still can be completed in the field.

 

To put a purchase order on hold:

  1. In the Approve Payment of Purchase Orders screen, locate the PO(s) to place on approval hold.

  2. In the left Show Columns pane, ensure the Hold column is selected.

  1. Click within the Hold checkbox on the right for the appropriate PO(s).

  1. Click the Save button when finished with changes.
