This section describes the data hierarchy between WMS and Sales Simplicity for builder, division, category, stage, option, plan and subdivision data. Sales Simplicity screens are displayed and fields affected by WMS changes are highlighted in each category. Data fields are distinguished between WMS and Sales Simplicity, and fields in WMS that overwrite fields in SS are noted as well. Data fields requiring additional clarification are included in certain categories as needed, such as those WMS fields that are named differently than SS fields, but still map to each other during a Send to Sales Center function.
In Sales Simplicity, the following actions trigger writing to the .XML file to export to WMS:
Taking a prospect to contract (print, or print preview a contract document)and either printing or print previewing will trigger writing to the XML file.
A newer feature in Sales Simplicity allows clients to choose to trigger writing to the XML file at print/print preview or at contract approval. When the feature is set to write at approval, the XML is triggered at approval, but is not triggered when change orders are executed. Change order XMLs are triggered at print/print preview.

Sales Simplicity's Long Description field pulls data from the Long Description column in the WMS Sales PricingModels/Options by Community screen. However, this SS field can pull notes from Sage Timberline Estimating's Assembly List dialog as long as the Update Long Description from PE Assembly Notes option is enabled in Setup > Division > Sales Center Integration.
NOTE: The same option is available for those integrating with Builder1440.
The left Division Master Options column in SS pulls data from WMS. All WMS options and their descriptions display in this column, such as 100010 Asbury Elevation B.
