
This tab tracks the project class and provides user-defined fields to track additional information relevant to the lot/job, entered by the user on an as-needed basis. To assign the appropriate description to each of the User Field numbered fields, see Custom Descriptions - Timberline Integration. The fields can be renamed however the company likes (with the exception of the Project Class field). The naming of the Community, Plan, Elevation, Garage (L/R), and Color Scheme fields shown in the Job Classification tab come from the custom descriptions set up in the sample data, seen here:

From the Setup menu, selectJobs. Or click the
Jobs icon on the Setup toolbar.
Select the specific job using the Jobs Toolbar.
Click the Job Classification tab.

To enter the project class, click the
Synchronize to Timberline icon to synchronize this field with the information entered in the Type field on the Setup Jobs screen in Job Cost. Or, type the name of the project class for the job in this field.
Populate the remaining fields as necessary.
Click the
Save button to save any changes entered manually. Or, click the
Cancel button to cancel any changes entered manually.
