
Each supplier can have up to three specific contacts. Use these tabs as needed.
From the Setup menu, select Suppliers.
Or, click the Suppliers
icon on the Setup toolbar.
Select the specific supplier using the Suppliers Toolbar.
Click the Contact 1,2, or3 tab. The following screen will display.
Fill in the desired fields on the Contact 1, 2 and 3 tabs as needed:
Contact 1, 2 and 3: The name of an individual contact at the supplier. This field is imported from Sage Timberline Office Accounts Payable.
Purchasing Contact: When the checkbox is selected, Contact 1, 2, and/or 3 is designated as a Purchasing Contact. The contact will receive all purchase orders issued to the supplier via the selected document delivery mode based on the addressing information available in this tab. When it is left blank, Contact 1, 2, and/or 3 will not receive purchase orders.
Scheduling Contact: When the checkbox is selected, Contact 1 , 2, and/or 3 will be designated as a Scheduling Contact. Contact 1, 2, and/or 3 will receive all schedule notifications for the supplier via the selected Document Delivery Mode based on the addressing information available in this tab. Also see Scheduling Options related to schedule and projected notifications. When it is left blank, Contact 1, 2, and/or 3 will not receive scheduling notifications.
Contact Email Address: Type the e-mail address for the contact in this field. This e-mail address will be used if the document delivery mode is set to e-mail.
Contact Phone #: The main phone number for the individual contact, this field is imported from Sage Timberline Office Accounts Payable.
Contact Fax #: Type the fax number for the contact in this field. This fax number will be used if the document delivery mode is set to a fax.
Contact Service Provider: Click the drop0-down menu and select the wireless service provider for the contact. The provider is required if the user will be communicating with suppliers via mobile messaging.
Contact Mobile #: Type the mobile phone number for the contact in this field. This number is required if the user will be communicating with suppliers via mobile messaging.
Mobile Messaging: Click the Mobile Messaging icon to connect to the supplier via two way messaging.
Contact Nextel DC #: Type the Nextel Direct Connect number for the individual contact in this field.
